• Tase 7: 400-800, 0 ante

Here are few quick snippets of action from the second last level of the night.

  • Eric Froehlich opened from the cutoff and the big blind made the call. A {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop saw the big blind player check and Froehlich bet. The player then check-raised and when Froehlich called, a {6-Spades} was dealt on the turn. The big blind then flicked out a bet and Froehlich let his hand go.
  • A board showed {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{9-Clubs} when we arrived at John Juanda's table. It was Juanda versus one opponent and it was checked to Juanda, who bet. A call and the {10-Diamonds} hit the river. This time both players checked and then Juanda took down the pot holding {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.
  • A middle position player opened it up and Vitaly Lunkin three-bet from the button. the big blind called and so did the opening player. The {3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop would see the big blind check-raise after Lunkin bet, while the other player's cards were in the muck. The {10-Spades} turn would see the player lead with a bet and Lunkin call. The {3-Spades} river and it was another bet and call. Lunkin's opponent tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, too strong for Lunkin.
