We caught up with the action on a board, where Dwyte Pilgrim was in a heads-up pot.
Pilgrim's opponent in the hijack checked, prompting an overbet from Pilgrim for 11,000 (there was about 7,000 in the pot beforehand). Pilgrim's opponent fell deep into the tank.
"I know you're betting big because you've got a flush...," Pilgrim's opponent said.
True to his word, Pilgrim called the clock after about two minutes. His opponent mucked shortly after the tournament director came over and said, "[If] you had bet 6k I snap call."
Pilgrim nodded his head and scooped the pot. He is still hovering a bit below the starting stack with 27,000.
