With a raise from the player under the gun to 4,600 and a call from the next seat over before him, Kevin Pollak three-bet to 12,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back around to the two early-position players who both called.
The flop was checked around. When the turn fell, action was checked to Pollak who bet 17,000. Only the preflop caller tagged along and checked the river.
"I'm supposed to bet a lot," said Pollak. Instead, he checked and tabled for trips.
His opponent mucked and Pollak took down the pot.
