Benjamin Alcober was the first player in this tournament over one million chips, reaching that accomplishment yesterday. However, it's been a tough day for him, as he was just down to 172,000. However, he has just doubled through Ryan Fair to get back over 350,000.
Alcober was at risk preflop holding and he was facing off against the of Fair. The flop came all low, , and Fair stayed out in front. The came on the turn, and Fair's table mate pointed out "you picked up an open ended straight draw." Fair just shrugged his shouldars, and the dealer peeled off the on the river to give the pot to Alcober.
"I knew when you said that I had the straight draw that I was going to lose" said Fair after the hand. He shipped the chips over to Alcober, who now sits on 355,000. Meanwhile, Fair drops down to 530,000 after that hand.
